Perth at night

I've probably mentioned before that Perth city center is not too big but I'm not a huge fan of big cities so for me it seems just right. I don't work in the CBD any more but from time to time I like to go south of the Swan river and have a look at the city at night. Definitely not as spectacular as sitting on the other side of Sydney or Hong Kong harbour but still quite nice.

2. South of the river again, this time the city from further distance

3. More recent photo, check out the ferris wheel

4. Close look at the ferris wheel, a 'bit' smaller than London Eye

What you probably haven't noticed on any of the previous photos is the Swan Bells, an 'iconic' building that was built to commemorate the new millennium. Not a huge fan of it to be honest (but will try upload a photo of the building during the day one time), let's just say I think there's few better ways of spending 5 million dollars. But it lights up in different colours at night:

6. Now yellow

7. And red!

I'm sure if you had any doubts if Perth is worth visiting seeing Swan Bells tower at night just convinced you you definitely have to come here ;)

  1. …trzeba tam pojechać;)

Znacznie ladniejszy hahaha.
