With the World Cup starting tomorrow there's a tough month ahead of me. With games at 7.30pm, 10pm and 2.30am Perth time I may be tired every now and then ;) I'm sure it'll be worth tho, even if it's only on tv. Last time (2006) I was much closer to the action, I was still living in Poland and with the Cup just round the corner in Germany and with Polish team in it I just had to see it live. I did and I have to admit that even tho we were probably one of the worst teams in the competition, 40'000 people singing the national anthem together is something I'll probably never forget. No Poland this time so let's hope Socceroos will do at least as good as 4 years ago. My prediction for the championship: The Netherlands.

1. Before I saw a world cup game I had a change to visit the final arena and see the Hertha Berlin league game

2. It was only 3 months before the World Cup so everything was ready

3. Gelsenkirchen - before the game against Equador

4. It really felt like a home game

5. Full of hopes before the first whistle

6. Unfortunately the result (0:2) was very dissapointing

7. Hannover - before the game agains Costa Rica

8. 'I'm here mum!' :)

9. Again almost like a home game

10. Winning squad, at last

11. Before winning this game (2:1) we lost to Germany (0:1 with a goal in the last minute), let's hope on Sunday Australia is going to show how to beat them in the tournament like that!
