1. Locked overnight in the compound on Mongolian border

2. And we're off, first the roads were not too bad and we thought a week should be plenty to get to the finish line

5. Nice camping spot, the only problem was to get far enough from the 'main' road to feel safe

6. During following days roads became slightly worse

8. When we got to this car they were already waiting for good few hours for someone to go past and we were about 2 hours driving from the closest city

9. Closer look at their tyre... on the plus side when it got replaced we got one more car in our convoy

13. Our average speed was so low sitting on a roof was not a problem

16. One and only sleep in the car after locals 'asked' us to leave our camping spot at night

19. After we lost our roof rack from constant shaking on terrible roads we had to do some serious repacking, good we were in the convoy
