24King’s Canyon
Continue reading »Third big attraction we had a chance to explore on our NT trip. Before going there I though we’re going to see Uluru and “some other stuff”. Turns out “some other stuff” is even more interesting. This time few photos from a 3.5 hours hike around King’s Canyon. Another day of waking up before sunset, annoying flies and very hot weather but it was all well worth it.

Continue reading »Part two of our Northern Territory trip, this time Kata Tjuta, also known as Mount Olga which is about 25km away from Uluru. It’s actually a bit higher than Ayers Rock but doesn’t look as impressive from the far distance cause it’s not just one piece of rock in the middle of nowhere. Pretty nice to hike around it tho, even if you have to wake up before the sunrise to finish it when the temperature is still bearable.

Continue reading »This post is the first one since I’ve officially became an Australian citizen so I though I’ll make it about something truly Australian. And as far as symbols go, Uluru is definitely up there. Probably everyone has seen it at least once, just like the Sydney Opera House. I’ve actually just came back from a short trip to Northern Territory (more photos to come) so here it is – the big red rock from the middle of Australia.
