Continue reading »You would think that you can’t miss St Mark’s Square in Venice as there’s a sign showing directions to it (and to the Rialto bridge) on every second corner. The problems is there is a lot of those corners and you can still get lost in tiny streets going all different directions. But you’ll definitely get there eventually.

Continue reading »Saving all my leave for the Mongol Rally later this year I’m not going anywhere for a while which gives me a chance to go through some photos from my previous travels. And browsing through them I got to Venice where I want to take you today. I have to be honest, it surprised me how unclean the city was and how dirty the water seemed but it still definitely is a place worth visiting. Check it out.
7Sunset over Poland
Continue reading »Because of living in WA sunsets which are not over the ocean seem somehow unusual to me now. They can be just as nice tho. These few photos are from Poland but in few days I’m off to a continent I’ve never visited before and definitely hope for some nice landscapes over there. As always, when on the road I’ll probably be bit quiet (just like I’ve been lately) but when I’m back in Perth I’ll definitely try to make up for it.

Continue reading »I think I’ve never quite realised how green Poland is. Or maybe it’s just that Australia is so much different that I’m noticing it every time I come back now. I remember when it was “just a forest”, it’s not quite “just a forest” for me anymore.
17Montserrat monastery
Continue reading »If you’re in Catalonia and have a day to spare you should visit the Benedictine abbey located in the Montserrat mountain. It’ll probably take 1.5 or 2 hours to get there from Barcelona but it’s definitely worth it.
