Continue reading »After craziness of the Mongolia I’ve got myself a bit of a different experience visiting Singapore on my way back home. And to understand the shock that one can experience flying between these two countries imagine that there’s about twice as many people in Singapore (just over 5 million) but the country is almost 2,500 times smaller than Mongolia! No wonder there’s so many skyscrapers, all these people have to live and work somewhere. But it’s a nice place to visit especially if you like shopping, the only problem is the humidity that I’m not a big fan of.

Continue reading »Before we get on the Mongol Rally route let’s go to Prague when we were still very much in a “normal tourist” mode. We got to spend a very nice weekend there enjoying cheap beers and for most time nice weather. If you don’t mind crowds of tourists, come for a stroll.

Continue reading »Before I’ll head off for the crazy Mongol Rally I’ve managed to get another trip within Australia which is always nice. Had to be in Melbourne for work for few days and stayed there for the weekend too which was pretty cool. Especially that it was sunny for like 5 days, when was the last time it happened in Victoria?
I’ve been to Melbourne before about 4 years ago but I didn’t know anyone from there back then so this trip was definitely much more fun as I could catch up with people for dinner and / or drinks. And I got to stay at my friend’s instead of being stuck in the hotel for the whole time. Thanks Pete!
