Few shots from around where my parents live. Cybinka is a small town near the German border and it's one of those places where time seems to go a little bit slower which makes it a perfect place to relax. At least for me. Ok, I admit, it may also have something to do with being generally happy when visiting my folks (unfortunately not too often lately) and enjoying mum's awesome cooking ;)

Not long time ago I've posted few photos from Lake Monger which is very close from my house. Interesting thing is that's not the only lake that's within walking distance from my place, the other one is Herdsman Lake. Did I also mention I walk to work every day and live less than 10 minutes by train from the city center? Not a bad spot in a 1.6 million people city, is it? :) But coming back to Herdsman Lake. It probably takes me around 20 minutes to walk there and to be honest I'm not there that often but every now and then I'll ride my bike around it. Have a look at few photos from my last ride.

Unlike Kings Park, I visit Lake Monger quite regularly as it's very close to my house and it became my usual running track. While preparing for the 12km "City 2 Surf" run earlier this year (which I ended up finishing under an hour and was stoked about!) you could have met me there even 3 times a week but these days when I'm back to playing soccer and (check me out...) started boxing (or rather boxercise) I try to run at least once a week. I know, sounds like I went bit exercise crazy but it's all good fun. Especially for someone who before the knee reconstruction wasn't doing anything for good few years. And Lake Monger is actually a very nice spot for a jog. Check out why.
