8Around Cybinka
Continue reading »Few shots from around where my parents live. Cybinka is a small town near the German border and it’s one of those places where time seems to go a little bit slower which makes it a perfect place to relax. At least for me. Ok, I admit, it may also have something to do with being generally happy when visiting my folks (unfortunately not too often lately) and enjoying mum’s awesome cooking ;)

16Australia Day
Continue reading »The 26th of January is Australia Day and it usually turns into one big party all around the country. This is very much different than Polish Independence Day which is more like ANZAC Day here. In Perth Australia Day also means Lotterywest Skyworks – huge half an hour fireworks show which is always synchronised with music being broadcast by one of the local radio stations. 12Fremantle
Continue reading »Let’s start the new year in Fremantle. Freo (as it’s often called) is a port city around 20km south of Perth, at the mouth of the Swan River. Continue reading »It’s 39 degrees outside right now so I’ve decided to go through some photos from few month ago when it wasn’t so hot to cool myself down a bit ;) I found few shots of Fernhook Falls that we had a chance to visit on our trip back from Denmark. They’re pretty much in the middle of nowhere and it took us quite some time driving through the forest with absolutely no one around, which made me wonder if we’re actually going to get anywhere, but I think the trip was worthwhile. Have a look.

7Perth at night
Continue reading »I’ve probably mentioned before that Perth city center is not too big but I’m not a huge fan of big cities so for me it seems just right. I don’t work in the CBD any more but from time to time I like to go south of the Swan river and have a look at the city at night. Definitely not as spectacular as sitting on the other side of Sydney or Hong Kong harbour but still quite nice.
