Piazza San Marco

You would think that you can’t miss St Mark’s Square in Venice as there’s a sign showing directions to it (and to the Rialto bridge) on every second corner. Saving all my leave for the Mongol Rally later this year I’m not going anywhere for a while which gives me a chance to go through some photos from my previous travels. And browsing through them I got to Venice where I want to take you today. I have to be honest, it surprised me how unclean the city was and how dirty the water seemed but it still definitely is a place worth visiting. Check it out.

Mongol Rally 2011

Today something a bit different. Normally I would upload photos from my past travels but this time it’s about my future adventures. Later this year I’m taking part in the Mongol Rally, a crazy attempt to drive a 1.2 litre car from Prague (Czech Republic) to Ulanbataar (Mongolia). Our planned route involves going through Czech Republic, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan again, Russia again and finally Mongolia.

Iguazu Falls – Brazil

As I mentioned last time we had a chance to see Iguazu Falls from both countries and here you can see few shots from the Brazilian side. In Argentina you can get closer to the edge of the falls but in Brazil you’re pretty much at the bottom of some of them, which lets you appreciate the power of nature even more.
