I want to get a photo of at least one sunset every month to get a list similar to the one I had last year and I’ve realised last night was the last chance to see one in February. Fortunately the beach is not too far, the summer is still very much in the air (we played our first soccer scratch match in 37 degrees yesterday…) so there you go: last sunset of February at City Beach.

Continue reading »Alright, today I just have to mention the temperature cause we’ve had this year’s hottest day so far: it was 43 degrees and believe me it is really, really hot. It’s pretty much too hot to do anything except staying at home with the air con on all the time. Fortunately yesterday was a little bit cooler (just a bit tho, 35 I think) so I went to one of the most popular beaches in Perth: Scarborough. And of course took few pictures so that you can check it out as well.

Continue reading »We’ve been to Freo, which is south, before so it’s time to find some attractions in the north part of Perth. One of them is definitely AQWA – the Aquarium of Western Australia, the biggest aquarium and underwater tunnel in Australia. It’s hard to show all the interesting animals on photos but maybe just a few will convince you to make your way up to Hillarys to check AQWA out.
